Step by Step Up for Charity
This morning, my parents and I took part in this "Step by Step Up for Charity" by Nanyang Siang Pau. Basically, it's a hiking competition aimed to raise funds for the Nanyang Fund or something. We hiked up to Penang Hill 84 which took around 1 hour. Compared to Padang Tembak 39 (the one I hike regularly up till 22), Penang Hill 84 is very tiring! The road is like, it never ends, it's just so so sooo tiring, then it just gets steeper and steeper and there isn't much flat road to stand on! That means we were hiking, hiking, hiking non-stop! Most people around 20+ died tired out halfway up. Heh, my father was saying: "Zha bo gi na ah! Jiu jiak jiu pui ah! Boh un tong loh!" (Young girls! Eat until so fat! Never exercise loh!) Seriously hoh, those Ah Pek Ah Ma were even better! Nevertheless, the first prize went to a young man around 20 or 30, 2nd and 3rd prize went to two older men.
