Cameron Highlands
*Nokia monophonic ringtone rings non-stop*
Father : Hello. Ha? Kim Ma Lun ah? Beh lah! Tan cheh yi beh ki zho kang, ko wu ji kio beh ki oh ah!
(Hokkien : Hello. Huh? Cameron Highlands? Cannot! She needs to go for work tomorrow, and the other one needs to go to school!)
That was on Sunday evening, my parents and I were going to have our dinner when my uncle called over and asked if we wanna go Cameron Highlands. Wah, it's already 5 in the evening leh! Of course lah, my mother needed to work and my father declined right away.
*minutes later*
Father : *calls uncle* Eh! Lu lang di to lok? Lang tan cheh ki ha! Yi ah? Yi emergency leave lah! Ha, ha, hmm...
(Hey! Where are you guys? We're going later, ok! Her? She's taking emergency leave! Yes, yes, hmm...)
My mother said it was okay to take an *cough*emergency leave *ehem*, and we were on our way to Cameron Highlands!
Three of us were rushing like mad people around the house, rushing for the toilet, rushing for our dinner, rushing for our backpacks.. and...! My mother ended up remembering to bring the facial foam but forgetting to bring our toothbrush -_-
When we finished rushing, it was already eight. We thought we could arrive Cameron Highlands at maybe... 10? At least we could still go for pasar malam! Mana tau! It was already 11.30 at night when we got there! The only thing we saw was the indoor garden (or whatever you call it lah). Wahsei, there was like hundreds of thousands of lightbulbs flashing, lighting up the cold night, warming up the plants beneath.
Saw those lights? Paiseh lah, I took this photo when the car was
I was thinking... why couldn't we just come here in the next morning? It's like, we went there to.... sleep?! ... only?! =.=
*sigh* Cincai lah, I couldn't sleep well anyway. I woke up like thrice in the midnight, having headache and I wondered "Why is the night so so sooooooo long?? T_T "
We went to Sam Poh temple, Brinchang after our breakfast having Ho-HEEEE (that's how the hosts in Ho-Ciak pronounce it, Ho... HEEEEEE), Kuey Tiau or roti canai/telur. (I still prefer Penang food! =X)
Of course, the tai-tais - my mother, my aunt and my grandma were the one who're having fun. They had fun going to pasarSSSSS, strawberry farmSSSSS, looking at jagungSSSSS, tomatoeSSSSS, mushroomSSSSS, strawberrieSSSSS!
I have to emphasis the SSSSSSSSS because we went to different places that sells things that are 90% the same - strawberrieSSSSSSSSS, tomatoeSSSSS and jagungSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS (RM2 each, RM10 for 3, RM20 for 9, etc. etc. so many offers -_- and 100% they'd stop by for at least 20 minutes), not mentioning the strawberry plush toys for tipu-ing gina punya =.=
I have to say, Cameron Highlands is such a STRAWBERRY LAND!
There's strawberries and stawberry chocolates....
...strawberry farms...
...strawberry T-shirts...
... strawberry jam, strawberry accesories, strawberry drinks, strawberry ice blended, strawberry cake, strawberry people, strawberry faces, strawberry eyes, strawberry brain... ??? *blur* I see strawberry everywhere! XD ..... and yet I don't eat them =.=||
Meanwhile, I was walking around taking photos here and there, kacau-ing my cousins once in a while, getting kacau-ed as well. I love the flowers in Cameron Highlands! The flowers are really pretty! The petals are flawless, not like those I see in other places. To me, even a little yellowish on the petal of a flower, the flower is *TOOOTTTT* RED light! That's why I think cactus flowers are pretty, because I've never seen them dry! XD
<3 these flowers!
