Happy Chinese New Year! (though it's kinda.. late)

We made peanut kuih again this year, and mom made some green pea kuihs too. Probably peanut kuihs' siblings.





Thus end the normal looking fishball kuih.

However.. there's ONE that's different from the others...
It's not a sphere, like its other samekind...
It's not ordinary looking...
It's.. it's..




... it's IN DONUT SHAPE! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And I MADE IT! MEMEMEMEMEME! =X

Looks sooooo odd right? I know, but I like! XD

I opened up the ang paos and I asked my mom : "Ma, can I choose not to marry? I WANNA GET ANG PAO FOREVERRRRRRRRR!"

Married couples are so kesian because they have to fork out their own money just for the ang paos. Those without kids are even kesian-er because they don't get their money back! Then having many kids is good during CNY, though the other 350 days would be so horrible because their living cost is higher.

I have an aunt, and this year her son and daughters all went back to grandma's house (mother's side). She has 5 kids? or 4? And omg, her daughters all brought their boyfriends. That means more ang pao to give to the family lah!

I have 25 cousins (28 if my brothers and I are included) just on my mother's side alone. My mom has 10 siblings in their family. Such a huuuuuuuge family omg. I can't imagine what will happen if all of the family members happen to come to my house. My house can collapse I think ._.

In 4 days, I've learnt these. 1. See things from a different perspective. There isn't just one solution to everything. 2. People are objective. It's impossible to please everyone. As long as you've tried your best, it's sufficient. 4. Becoming friends is easy, working together as colleagues is hard. But it doesn't hurt to try. There must be a balance point between the two. 5. Don't be too stubborn. Don't just stare at the black spot. Step back, you see more. 6. The stupidest thing to do is to let work affect your relationship. I think I've disappointed everyone when I decided to stay behind. I only see myself in the picture. I think that I overworked. What I failed to see was that everyone else was tired, too.
