Ouch

Ouch, my heart hurts.

I'm feeling very very uncomfortable. Someone scolded me just because I was advising her DEAREST son! Should I say I scolded her DEAREST son?

2 hours ago, I was playing badminton. By the time I got to the court, there was a boy who was already there before me. "Not the usual kakis, " I thought.

Okay, since he was playing with Adik who's one of the kakis, so I didn't think much and joined them.
That boy was one irritating, noisy fellow. I wonder, why can't he just concentrate on playing badminton and also improve his skills? Instead, he was yelling, laughing, teasing people. He yelled when I was focusing on serving the shuttlecock.

"Wei, faster lah!"

Didn't he know that I was trying to make a good service? You don't want to play, then leave! I do! -_-

Fineeee, I must tolerate! He's just a young little (arrogant, rude) kid anyway! Minutes later, I heard something. He was scolding vulgarities. I cannot tolerate people who scold vulgarities, especially girls and children. Aren't they supposed to behave? (Okay, I might sound a little biased here, I know.) If my deceased grandma is still alive, that kid is so going to get a cane from her.

Just when I was about to open my mouth, his mother said "Eh, don't scold vulgarities!"
Boy : " *insert Hokkien vulgar here* (Hint : The first word starts with Kan and the second starts with Ci)"
Boy's mom : "WEI! You scold somemore, then you come with me at once!"
Boy : " *scolds more* , okay lah okay lah, I stop."

His skills was like.. so teruk loh! What's more, he was criticising another girl! Worst of all, that girl was an Indian, and obviously she cannot understand Hokkien. That stupid fellow took granted of this and criticised her right in front of that girl!

"Wah, that Indian girl cannot play one! So lauya!"

HELLO? As if you're playing SOOOOO WELL! Ha! Don't make me laugh! If you're playing really well, then I've got nothing to say, of course. But, I believe, even as a professional player, people like Koo Kien Keat or Tan Boon Heong aren't as arrogant as you! Seriously, I really cannot tahan racists. Your skin is brighter than hers, so what? You think you're superior just because you're a Chinese? She cannot understand Hokkien, so what? That doesn't mean you don't have to respect her, provided that she's at least 5 years older than you, I suppose.

"Wei, don't criticise people like that lah!" I said.

Who knows, his mother defended her DEAREST son!

"It's his mouth! He can say whatever he wants!"

"... "

That was it. I left the court immediately after that. I was annoyed and I felt irritated. I totally disagree with what that Auntie did. I know he's your son, but, don't you think it's your responsible to teach him to be well-mannered, instead of.. defending him when he's the one who's at fault?

There's a saying that when a baby is born, he's like a piece of white paper. Parents are the one who colour their lives, either with wonderful colours or, horrendous colours. It's best for parents to educate a child when he's young, better than comforting theirselves "Aiya, he's just a kid! Nevermind one lah!"

Nevermind? Have you ever heard of... preventing is better than curing? Or maybe you wanna witness your child grows up as a samseng? Hmm?

*sigh*

Has the world changed? Or, human hearts changed?

I don't know.

Phew, thank you for reading this stupid rant even though you can choose not to! >.< style="font-style: italic;">PS : I apologize if I offended anyone in any way with this post. I'm just giving my opinion, it's a rant, and most of all, this is my blog. Blog can also be considered as diaries, diaries are supposed to be used for expressing views. Thank you. =)
