Thaipusam

Happy Thaipusam to everyone out there!

Thaipusam (Tamil: தைப்பூசம்) is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (Jan/Feb). Pusam refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates both the birthday of Lord Murugan (also Subramaniam), the youngest son of Shiva and Parvati, and the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel (lance) so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman.

I think I better stop posting photos before anyone of you had your computer crawling like a turtle or maybe ... explode?! O_O

Anyway, it has been a busy month ever since the school started. First month of school and I'm already deadmeat. I wonder how am I going to cope with everything this year. The pressure of getting As keeps coming in, and I still not getting any motivation to study whatsoever. ANNDDDD, I actually started to go for tuition! The tuition centre is a bloodsucker, RM90 for one single subject, 1 day per week, 1.5 hours per day - ridiculous. Good thing that the tuition teacher is still okay lah else I'm like wasting money for nothing.

Most of the Form 5 teachers are long-winded! Gosshhh...
English teacher a.k.a. ET a.k.a. Ms Irene - She just can't stop nagging -_-

Malay teacher, Pn. Fareedah - She loves to tell grandmother stories >.> Everyday she comes in and she starts talking about herself, her family, her neighbour, her this, her that..
"Cikgu pandai masak tau!"
"Anak cikgu gelap sikit lah, tapi dia ni ah, look sweet!"
And one thing about her is that she loves to end with mah.
"Tak ada MAH"
".... MAH"

Maths teacher, Pn. Yap - She loves SHOUTING at us, calling us Datin and saying "Zhu ni men hao yun!"
Sarcastic!

The rest are those who taught us in Form 4 before. I wish I can have Ms. Teoh back for Maths, Pn. Teoh for English and Pn. Soon for Malay! T_T
They're the best teachers in the morning session loh!
