Of Mountains, Environmental Education and Zero Waste

I've finally moved out of my aunt's house to the current house in Bukit Panjang. Moved out coz of some personal reasons. Don't ask me why. My aunt called on the same day. She said she couldn't bear to see me go. So she didn't come home the night before. I was already feeling a little gloomy that morning. A sense of guilt. Well, maybe not guilt. Just didn't feel right. I have my reasons to move out. And I'm not turning back but I promised her that I'll be visiting her every now and then. On a lighter note! My roommate hasn't moved in yet! o_o She's gonna move in next week when she gets back from KL. For the time being I shall have the whole room to myself. Just my belongings alone have already taken up most of the space in the cupboard! I can't imagine what can two girls do to a small little cosy room! The room's nice, really! Went out this afternoon to Raffle's Place to donate blood (well, SUPPOSEDLY). In the end, the staff didn't allow me to donate blood coz I consumed cough syrup yesterday. Mehhh. -_- This is the 2nd time in this year that I was banned from donating blood because of medication =(( So yep, in the end Mich nv er and I decided to go Bugis and shop! K the initial plan was simply to eat but em... you know... girls... um so yea. =X I left early to meet my aunt at Orchard Hotel for her company's staff retreat. Dang the food was good! XD When we were going home, my aunt decided not to take train and took bus instead. It was supposed to be express bus but we ended up reaching home 2 hours later. =.= Riiight, there was a multiple-vehicle collision on our way back. The bus we were on wasn't involved in the collision but somehow, 1 of the smart driver decided to open his car door without looking to the back when our bus passed by. I finally got a new lappy already, it's a Compaq Presario V3700. I don't like it that much. I still prefer a desktop PC. And most of all, I hate to use the touchpad! My goodness, it's like sooooo troublesome! Everything is so Vista-ish (duh) especially all the fancy designs for the Windows and tabs whatsoever. Anyway, today is the fourth day of orientation week. Super tiring okay. We were having this SP Flag Day where we had to go to various locations to collect donations. Yeah.. so I was assigned to Somerset with some of the classmates. Seriously the only places I know how to go are just Dover (school), Jurong (uh.. my entertainment centre?) and Boon Lay (home). That's it. My gaaaaawd. Somerset?!
